Poppy Playtime is an indie survival horror game that gives players control of an ex-employee of Playtime Co. As this employee, gamers explore an abandoned toy factory called Playtime Co. and solve a multitude of different puzzles while escaping the dangers lurking inside the building.
Poppy Playtime: What to expect in Chapter 3?
The factory is filled with toys being alive, acting as a potential danger, and a number of video tapes that can be found throughout the whole factory, each giving clues about what actually happened in the factory. With the success of the first two chapters of Poppy Playtime, MOB Games, the developer of this legendary horror game has recently released the trailer of Chapter 3. Although the trailer is just over one minute long with confusing images, it still makes gamers around the world eager to know about the mysteries that Playtime Co. is still hidden.
Poppy: Discover new location
The newly released trailer shows several broken toys including Hyggy Wuggy and Mommy Longgs and ends with a mysterious gas mask. Specifically, there is a haunting voiceover of the Playtime founder discussing Playcare, a campus orphanage that once existed in a creepy toy factory. While the Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 trailer is confusing, the ending of Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 can shed more light on where the series is headed. At the end of Chapter 2, the main character almost escapes Playtime Co. and gets on the train to another area of the factory marked as "Playcare".
Old characters, new horror?
Hyggy Wuggy and Mommy Longgs, two characters in Poppy Playtime Chapters 1 and 2 which have brought many horrors to players continue appearing in the trailer of Chapter 3. This appearance is expected to create more haunting scenes for players, especially while the game is entering the climax. In addition, due to the new location and the Mommy Long Legs defeated, more horrifying toys and more mind-boggling puzzles are expected to come.

With Chapter I and II having been a hit, fans of the game are waiting for the third installment which will be released at the end of 2022 or early 2023.
